LaSalle Network has partnered with a well-established software provider that's based in San Ramon, CA, who's in need of a well-rounded, Sr. Cloud Engineer to join their team. They're looking for a strong cloud engineer who has performed complex engineering tasks for Infrastructure-based initiatives and created CI/CD Pipelines for automation, coupled with scripting (Java and Shell scripting, ideally). In this role, you will span across the cloud infrastructure environment and operate as a cloud generalist, and the bulk of the work will be project-based in nature but may also require some support and de-bugging duties for production issues. This role is a long-term contract opportunity with the potential to extend or convert to an FTE and is operating under the hybrid work model with 3 days a week on-site in San Ramon, CA. Sr. Cloud Engineer Responsibilities:

• Develop new CI/CD Pipelines to deploy in the cloud and build on-prem and hybrid-cloud solutions
• Deploy Microservices to the cloud
• Create modules with Terraform (and other IaC Tools) to deploy into Cloud Infrastructure
• Create, build and secure scalable/enterprise-grade platform services
• Document and communicate the architecture and implementation solutions

Sr. Cloud Engineer Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience creating CI/CD Pipelines (Ideally within GitOps - i.e., GitHub, GitLab, and Jenkins)
• 3-5 years of experience creating resources with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and/or Azure with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform (or similar tools, i.e., Ansible)
• 3-5 years of experience in Scripting (Python, Java, Shell, and/or PowerShell)
• Expert level knowledge of Kubernetes: GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) and/or AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)
• Possess expert-level knowledge of the "Helm Stack" and the capability to create Helm Files, from scratch
• Well-rounded experience in Linux-based environments and the ability to perform command-line scripting with Linux-based languages
